Platforms

Glex is first and foremost a standalone application, but we also offer a web-based application.

WebGL

Open the Glex web-app at app.glex.no

Windows

Go through the following steps to download and install the latest version of Glex:

1. Open the download page. The latest version of Glex can always be found here.
2. A zip file will start downloading in your web browser
3. Locate the zip file and unzip the content (*)
4. Double click the Glex.exe file located in the folder you just extracted
5. You should be good to go. It's that easy. Once Glex is installed, it will in most cases handle updates on it's own.

Warning

Some anti-virus applications mistakes the Glex Executable for a harmful application. Make sure to allow Glex if your anti-virus software wants to block it.

You can unzip the content anywhere you like, you should however make sure to unzip the files into a folder by right clicking the zip-file and clicking “Extract to..”. If you have an older version of Glex located on your machine the best practice is to remove the old files and extract the new files from the .zip file to the same location. Read more about this in the Upgrading section.
